The best water bottle is more than just a hydration vessel.
We wanted to find a bottle that was intuitive to drink from—no crazy tops or designs that were aesthetically pleasing but functionally impossible. It was also important to find a bottle that was comfortable to drink from with a lid that didn’t hit our teeth or require assuming some strange neck position to get a drop out. Opening the bottle had to be easy on the go and the opening wide enough to get a good sip but narrow enough that it doesn't spill easily.
Above all, we just used them—these bottles went to the track, Pilates class, yoga, the office, and on weekend trips.was the only glass water bottle we tested. The lid has a small finger loop, which made the bottle uncomfortable to carry. The lid was also difficult to twist off. It did get extra points for its glow-in-the-dark silicone sleeve, a nice discovery when reaching for a water bottle in the middle of the night. Also, it is one of the few bottles we tested that is fully dishwasher-safe.
