The Spook Who Sat by the Door
is a Black cult classic coming out of that rich ’70s decade of Black action films. It was too hot to handle in theaters and was pulled after barely a two-week run.anticipates the moment we are living in now. The film shows the racial mask of America being ripped off and a nationwide insurrection exploding. Throughout there are a number of teachable scenes that offer a revealing dialogue about racism, police brutality, and economic and social disempowerment.
