Either way, it was hard not to laugh as the show reveled in every withering look Hannah’s family cast Jed’s way—especially as he gushed to her father about his greatest career win to date: writing a dog food jingle. “He was very proud of the dog food jingle that he did,” Hannah’s father told her—and he did not sound even slightly impressed. That’s a far cry from how the family reacted towhom they seemed ready to welcome into the family at his leisure. But given the way Chris Harrison is framing Tuesday’s finale capper, it seems unlikely we’ll get an ending as simple and satisfying as Hannah picking her obvious best bet, Tyler, and riding off into the sunset.
