Amazon MGM Studios announced The Accountant 2 release date for April 25, 2025. The sequel will get a full theatrical release, just like the original movie. It arrives a week before Marvel’s Thunderbolts*. Joining Affleck is a cast featuring, J.K. Simmons , Cynthia Addai-Robinson , Daniella Pineda , Allison Robertson , Robert Morgan , and Grant Harvey .
“When her former boss is killed by unknown assassins, Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina is forced to contact Christian Wolff to solve the murder,” the logline reads. “With the help of his estranged but highly lethal brother Brax , Chris applies his brilliant mind and less-than-legal methods to piece together the unsolved puzzle. As they get closer to the truth, the trio draw the attention of some of the most ruthless killers alive—all intent on putting a stop to their search.
Affleck and Matt Damon are producing The Accountant 2 — which was originally going to be released by Warner Bros. but moved to Amazon MGM Studios — alongside Lynette Howell Taylor and Mark Williams.
