The Volkswagen ID.7 is a big, low-drag electric sedan.
The ID.7's interior is dominated by a 15-inch touchscreen angled towards the driver and used to control just about everything. VW still uses the haptic touch controllers we find infuriating on the new Golf on both the steering wheel, and under the infotainment screen. The sport seats shown in the press photos are particularly handsome.Volkswagen says the ID.7 will launch this fall in China and Europe, with U.S. deliveries beginning in 2024. Both North American- and European-market ID.7's will come from recently reworked EV plant at Emden, around an hour and a half from Bremen in the North of Germany, near the border with the Netherlands. We expect the ID.
