Billed as a lightweight and fun touring variant, the model slots between theand 911 Carrera S. It features the former model’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 379 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque.

While the engine carries over, the 911 T has gone on a diet as it features reduced sound insulation, a seven-speed manual, and a rear seat delete. The weight saving measures don’t end there as designers equipped the car with thinner glass and a smaller, more compact battery. Thanks to the changes, the model tips the scales at 3,254 lbs , which is 100 lbs less than the PDK-equipped 911 Carrera. The emphasis on performance is visible elsewhere as the 911 T comes standard with the PASM Sport Suspension that reduces the ride height by 0.4 inches . The model also boasts the Sport Chrono Package, a sport exhaust system, and a limited slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring. In terms of performance, the 911 T accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 181 mph . Customers can also get an eight-speed PDK transmission at no-cost and it lowers the 0-60 mph time to 3.8 seconds. On the styling front, there isn’t much to report as the model features Agate Grey accents as well as Titanium Grey Carrera S wheels that measure 20 inches front and 21 inches rear. Bigger changes occur in the cabin as buyers will find a GT Sport steering wheel, four-way Sport Seats Plus, and dark grey accents as well as matte black and gloss black trim. An assortment of options will be available and customers can get rear seats at no extra cost. Porsche will also offer a Carrera T Interior Package, which adds Slate Grey or Lizard Green seat belts as well as seat stripes and contrast stitching. The package also includes matching floor mats and 911 logos on the headrests. The 911 Carrera T will arrive at U.S. dealerships next spring and pricing starts at $116,600 before a $1,450 delivery, processing and handling fee. That’s $10,500 more than the 911 Carrera but $6,400 less than the 911 Carrera S.
