People could be able to take psilocybin at licensed retreats, centers, and clinics in Oregon by early next year, which would mark the beginning of a legal-psychedelics ecosystem.
The Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board, a regulatory body established under the ballot measure, is tasked with making a set of recommendations around psilocybin services by the end of June, while the Oregon Health Authority's Oregon Psilocybin Services, the main body responsible for setting up and regulating the new program, will take those recommendations into consideration when creating the regulatory framework by the end of 2022.
