The unmarked Mount Pleasant cocktail den doesn’t take reservations, and even on a Monday night at 5:30, multiple couples had already given their names and phone numbers to the genial doorman, hoping to get a text message confirming that seats had opened up. The draw at O.K.P.B., run by the former proprietor of the Sheppard in Dupont Circle, is seriously good cocktails in an intimate space, with only around two dozen seats.
