As part of the still-popular Isekai genre, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has helped to reaffirm the reason so many fans and creators alike flock to the imaginative tropes of alternate universes. Originally a light novel that received a manga adaptation, the story was soon turned into an anime by Eight Bit in 2018. Now, not only is a third season of TenSura on the way, but its first theatrical film is premiering in North America next week.
