Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt played against his former team of five seasons on Sunday.

“We was out there just joking around, messing around,” Hunt said, “talking trash like we always do. It felt like it was practice against them when we’re doing offense, ones versus ones. Similar to last year, Hunt started the 2024 season as a free agent due to the Browns not bringing him back. Kansas City brought Hunt back after first-stringer Isiah Pacheco, suffered an injury in the Week 2 win over Cincinnati.
Hunt originally came into the league after the Chiefs took him in the third round in 2017. Though he’s playing in a Kansas City uniform for the first time since the 2018 season, Hunt claims it wasn’t much of an adjustment.
