Travel delays are likely in the South and East this weekend as a storm system tracks eastward:

That means a broad area from the South into the Mississippi and Ohio valleys could see rainfall either Saturday or Saturday night. Rainfall could be heavy at times in some of these areas, especially on the Gulf Coast.Rain and mountain snow could impact parts of the Northwest and Northern Rockies, but it's not expected to be widespread.
A few showers could linger ahead of the cold front in the Florida Peninsula, but shouldn't be a major concern.
