Multiple foods linked to Thanksgiving meals are undergoing recalls, which holiday shoppers should be aware of as they shop for ingredients this week. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) has issued recalls for several Thanksgiving -related products that may still be in people's pantries or refrigerators even after being removed from store shelves. A recent recall involves F&S Fresh Foods' organic carrot sticks and celery, which might be contaminated with E. Coli .

Symptoms include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, fever, nausea, and vomiting. The affected products were sold at Whole Foods Market stores in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, and Nevada, with best buy dates ranging from 9/1/24 to 10/19/24. Additionally, Savencia Cheese USA has recalled certain cheese products due to possible contamination by Listeria monocytogenes
