[BREAKING NEWS] Thandi Modise elected National Assembly Speaker
JOHANNESBURG - ANC's Thandi Modise, former National Council of Provinces Chair was elected National Assembly Speaker on Wednesday.Lechesa Tsenoli was elected unopposed as her deputy.However, the governing party shed 19 seats from the previous parliament.
The party returns as the governing party after winning the 2019 Election with 57.51 percent of the votes.
