Thailand sees highest single day rise in coronavirus cases

THAILAND today recorded 32 new Covid-19 cases, the highest single-day rise since the outbreak in January, bringing the total number to 114 in the kingdom. Thai Public Health Ministry permanent secretary Dr Sukhum Kanchanapimai said nine of the new patients had visited Bangkok’s Lumpinee Boxing Stadium and Rajadamnern Muaythai Stadium while eight had visited entertainment venues.
