“Perdana Menteri Jeneral Prayuth Chan o-cha menegaskan tiada agenda politik di sebalik pelanjutan tempoh perintah darurat berkenaan. Media tempatan melaporkan pihak pembangkang meminta pelanjutan tempoh perintah darurat dibatalkan memandangkan Thailand terus mencatat jumlah kes Covid-19 yang rendah. Mereka mendakwa ia adalah agenda tersembunyi pemerintah, untuk menyekat aktiviti politik di negara itu.
