Texas guard Kyndall Hunter transfers to Texas A&M
A former star at Cypress Creek, Texas second-year guard Kyndall Hunter is transferring to Texas A&M.AUSTIN — On March 14, second-year guard Kyndall Hunter announced her intent to transfer out of Texas after being away from the team due to personal reasons all season. A month later, Rori Harmon’s former All-American running mate at Cypress Creek found a landing spot a little closer to home.
Hunter appeared in 21 games and averaged 3.0 points during her freshman campaign at Texas. She popped off for 27 points and seven 3s in her college debut against New Orleans but scored just 37 points across her final 20 games. In an Instagram post, the 5-foot-7 guard thanked athletic director Chris Del Conte for “allowing me to continue my education as I navigated through the decision-making process pertaining to my future.”
