Texas overcame a slew of turnovers and a rare off night from star freshman guard Rori Harmon to beat the Big Ten champion Buckeyes in a tense finish. Neither team led by more than 10 at any point in a game that featured 10 lead changes. Center Lauren Ebo gave Texas some breathing room, knocking down a couple of free throws after wrestling away an offensive rebound. And Harmon answered Ohio State guard Taylor Mikesell’s deep 3 with a pull-up jumper to put Texas ahead 64-61 with 67 seconds remaining.Buckeyes senior Tanaya Beachum knocked down an elbow jumper on the ensuing possession and Texas freshman Aaliyah Moore’s layup rimmed out, giving Ohio State a chance to take the lead.
