There are a total of 11,040 hospitalizations in the state, including 3,424 in North Texas.

According to the state, 19,615,971 people in Texas have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 16,629,437 — 61.7% of the state’s population 5 and older — are fully vaccinated.Of the new cases, 22,579 were confirmed and 5,686 were probable. The numbers bring the county’s case total to 422,176, including 345,872 confirmed and 76,304 probable. The death toll is 5,085.

The average number of new daily cases in the county for the last two weeks is 2,922. For the previous 14-day period — nearly eight times the previous 14-day average of 372.According to the state, 1,294,247 people in Tarrant County have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while 1,133,060 — 58.3% of the county’s population 5 and older — are fully vaccinated.The state added seven deaths and 11,587 cases to Collin County’s totals in the last week.

Of the new cases, 8,390 were confirmed and 3,197 were probable. The numbers bring the county’s case total to 160,585, including 127,299 confirmed and 33,286 probable. The death toll is 1,228.
