Authorities and family members have released the names of the eight victims that were killed by a gunman at an outlet mall on Saturday in Allen, Texas. The tragedy was the second-deadliest mass shooting in the US so far this year.

The Department of Public Safety released the names of the victims who died this week, with the age range of the victims ranging from three to 37.
The family took a trip to the mall to exchange a birthday present for their older son, who turned six recently.Sofia Mendoza, a second grader, and her sister Daniela Mendoza, a fourth grader, were among those killed Saturday. The two sisters were at the mall with their mother, Ilda, who is currently in critical condition from the shooting, according to Wylie Independent School District Superintendent David Vinson.
“I pray to God to give [her family] enough strength to handle the situation,” Ashok Kolla, a volunteer for the Telugu Association of North America, said to the Dallas Morning News.
