The Klein Cain graduate visited the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday and previously visited the hometown Texans along with the Philadelphia Eagles and Denver Broncos, per a league source, in addition to a Zoom with the Baltimore Ravens. The University of Texas running back displayed his explosiveness again at the Longhorns’ Pro Day workout, running the 40-yard dash in unofficial times of 4.25 and 4.28 seconds for an improvement of his 4.38 at the NFL scouting combine. His official Pro Day time was 4.38 seconds. The only faster time among the running backs at the combine was Virginia Tech standout Bhayshal Tuten, who had a 4.32 clocking.as well as the Bills, Green Bay Packers, Eagles, Steelers and the Tennessee Titans at the combine, per a league source.He rushed for a career-high 730 yards and eight touchdowns and caught 42 passes for 368 yards and six touchdowns. He finished with 1,161 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground for his career and 56 catches for 503 yards and seven scores. Blue played behind several excellent running backs at Texas, including Carolina Panthers runner Jonathon Brooks. Blue had 398 rushing touchdowns in 2023. In the Sugar Bowl, he had 59 rushing yards on nine carries with four catches for 45 yards and a touchdown against the University of Washington.
