The Rangers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks, 4-1.One of MLB’s best traditions is when the World Series champions from the previous season get to show off their gold-trimmed uniforms. The trend has taken hold over the past decade but began with the Boston Red Sox in 2005.
The Rangers unveiled the gold-trimmed uniforms that they’ll wear as defending champs in 2024, presumably for the first homestand of the season, as is typical, but details about when and where the team will officially don the uniforms for a game have yet to be released.Fans, however, will be able to purchase gold-trimmed jerseys and hats for themselves on March 21, the team announced. The Rangers’ “Gold Collection” will be available at the Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field.
