, Josh Jung exited early after being hit by a pitch on the left hand. Jung, who began the day leading all AL rookies in homers and RBIs , was hit by a 95.7 mph fastball from Graham Ashcraft on the second pitch of his first plate appearance. X-rays of the hand revealed no fracture. He was diagnosed with a contusion. He will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Texas.
