After nearly three weeks, the largest wildfire in Texas history is 100% contained.

The other victim, 83-year-old Joyce Blankenship, was killed Feb. 28 when her house in Stinnett was destroyed by the Windy Deuce Fire.Xcel Energy said its equipmentthe Smokehouse Creek Fire. But the company does not believe it started the Windy Deuce.

Ten wildfire related lawsuits have been filed. Most point the finger at a wooden power pole Xcel and SPS "failed to properly inspect, maintain, and replace, splintered, and snapped off at its base."Stay Connected
