The Lone Star State was ranked the ninth-most-stressed state in the nation, and ranked second-highest for work-related stress.

Let it out slowly.The website, known for financial information and services, measured stress levels across the 50 states and the District of Colombia by analyzing data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and several other organizations.
The study evaluated each state based on levels of stress related to work, money, family and health and safety.The Lone Star State ranks second-highest for work-related stress. Some of the factors analyzed for this category include the average number of hours each state's residents work per week, the average commute time and the unemployment rate.
Texas tied with Alaska and North Dakota for being the state with the most average hours worked per week. The exact number of hours was not provided in the study.
