Democrat Beto O’Rourke narrowly outraised Gov. Greg Abbott over the last month, but Abbott maintains a dominant financial advantage going into the final stretch of the most expensive governor's race in Texas history.

O’Rourke raised $10.5 million from Sept. 30 to Oct. 29 and has now raised almost $77 million in his effort to become the first Democratic governor since 1994.

Already about 3.5 million Texans have voted with early voting continuing through Friday.
