Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says he'll ask for donations to build a state border wall

In 2018, Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage launched We Build the Wall, a nonprofit that solicited funds to build a private border wall, and recruited former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon in the effort.
