Texas gas prices down slightly headed into Easter weekend

Gas prices are dropping slowly as you get ready for your egg hunt and other Easter festivities.

TEXAS —

Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed, drivers in Bryan/College Station are paying the most on average at $3.84 per gallon, while those in Amarillo are paying the least on average at $3.46 per gallon. The International Energy Agency announced last week it plans to release 120 million barrels of fuel from its emergency stockpile. This is on top of the 60 barrels the United States had announced it would release. According to AAA, this helped ease the crude oil supply, thus driving down gas prices.
