Texas Forever Fest in Plano to celebrate all things Texas with food, music and more

The Texas Forever Fest will celebrate all things Texas at Plano’s Haggard Park on March 26.

A Plano water tower in Plano, Texas, on Thursday, June 18, 2020.The Texas Forever Fest will celebrate all things Texas at Plano’s Haggard Park on Saturday, March 26, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.The festival will feature live music, live Western entertainment, Texas-style food and drink, Texas-themed vendors, a Plano Rotary barbeque cook-off and more, according to Plano’s website.

Musical performers include Roger Creager, Hayden Haddock, The Tejas Brothers, Walt Wilkins, George Dunham with Pat Green and Texas Flood. Other free activities and entertainment are mechanical bull rides, trick roper demonstrations, a kids’ zone and a photo opportunity with Rowdy, the Dallas Cowboys’ mascot.Spirits of Texas Tasting where participants can sample Texas beer and spirits in the historic Saigling House on the edge of Haggard Park.

There will be Sunrise Samples, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Sunset Samples, served from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Both sets are available with the Sunrise to Sunset All-Day Pass. Each sample set includes between 18 and 20 two-ounce samples.
