Allen suffered a right lower leg injury March 4 during the Longhorns’ win over No. 3 Kansas. Allen played 34 minutes and finished with six points on 33.3 percent shooting, six rebounds and three steals. “We immediately started working on his recovery,” Terry said Thursday after No. 2 seed Texas beat No. 7 seed Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals with Allen sidelined. “They have been working with him the last couple days, and we just made a decision that we are going to go day-to-day, and he's getting better each and every day. But we'll put him back out there when the opportunity presents itself to where he's 100 percent.
