Texas forward Dylan Disu is fouled by Colgate forward Jeff Woodward while driving to the basket in the second half of a first-round college basketball game in the NCAA Tournament, Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Des Moines, Iowa. KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Texas will wait until Sunday to decide whether senior forward Dylan Disu will play in the Elite Eight against Miami that afternoon at the T-Mobile Center.
"That's the biggest thing for a bone bruise, just trying to stay off it as much as possible, ice, treatment,” Disu said. “But then tomorrow, if I can play I'll play." "I wanted to give him that moment, though, to start the game and have a couple trips because he's worked so hard and he's earned the right to be here in a regional and play in a regional,” Terry said Friday night. “But we knew we weren't going to have him very much in this game tonight.”The Pflugerville product garnered the Big 12 tournament’s most outstanding player award after leading Texas to a 20-point rout of Kansas in the title game.
