A new bill introduced in the Texas House of Representatives seeks to prohibit major retailers like Target and Walmart from selling sex toys. House Bill 1549, sponsored by Republican Rep. Hillary Hickman, would classify the sale of 'obscene devices' as illegal for non-sexually oriented businesses, potentially resulting in fines up to $5,000. The bill has sparked debate, with critics arguing that Texas has more pressing concerns than regulating sex toys.
