The 18-year-old student had been standing in the bullpen area during an afternoon game when he suffered a gunshot wound to his chest, according to police. Hundreds of Boy Scouts also had been in the park at the time, planning to camp out, but the event was called off after the shooting, the Texarkana Gazette reported.
