But nothing more than his fellow Aggies consistently rolling up their sleeves while opening their wallets to keep A&M at or near the top of the national heap when it comes to campus sports complexes.
“I don’t know what’s more amazing, that we’re adding on to the best stadium in the country, or how fast it’s going to be done,” A&M coach Jimbo Fisher said of the roughly nine-month turnaround for an ambitious project. “… I’ve played in almost every stadium in this country, and I don’t think there’s a better venue in all of America.”
After A&M’s last home game, Nov. 26 against LSU, the first seven rows of Kyle’s south bench sections 240-246 will be removed and eventually replaced by the suites. Bjork said in the meantime season ticker holders in those sections will be offered a chance to move within the stadium for 2023 and beyond.
“The really big benefit is the sightline,” Bjork said. “… You’re going to be right on top of the action.”
