Texas A&M continues to bolster its roster through the transfer portal, adding cornerback Jordan Shaw from Washington.
The Texas A&M Aggies are actively recruiting from the transfer portal as the offseason progresses. They have secured a commitment from cornerback Jordan Shaw , who previously played for the Washington Huskies . This will be Shaw's third school in three years, following his start at Indiana in 2023.
Texas A&M's transfer class already includes additions like defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim (Iowa State), tight ends Nate Boerkircher (Nebraska) and Micah Riley (Auburn), receivers Micah Hudson (Texas Tech), KC Concepcion (N.C. State) and Mario Craver (Mississippi State), quarterback Jacob Zeno (UAB), and edge rushers T.J. Searcy (Florida), Dayon Hayes (Colorado) and Sam M'Pemba (Georgia). Shaw, a native of Downey, California, was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class before committing to Indiana. During his freshman year, he appeared in four games with two starts, recording 12 tackles and a pass breakup. He then transferred to Washington, where he made eight starts in all 12 regular-season games. With the Huskies, he had 37 tackles and six pass breakups. He also played in the Sun Bowl loss to Louisville Cardinals, finishing with two tackles. The Aggies are likely to continue adding players through the transfer portal.
