Texans quarterback CJ Stroud has barely scratched the surface of his budding National Football League career, and he's already making Houston proud as he was announced as the Offensive Rookie of the Month for September.Stroud, the first winner of the NFL's 2023 campaign for the award, is the first Texans player to win it since 2017 and is the eighth player overall from the franchise to receive the honor.
Five months after that night, Stroud has made strides, garnering the accolade of being the first player in NFL history to have at least 900 passing yards, four touchdown passes, and zero interceptions in his first three career starts. Also, in those three career starts, Stroud's passing rate is the third-highest in NFL history by a rookie in that period.
