Defensive end Jonathan Greenard will miss the Texans’ game against the Raiders on Sunday with a calf injury. It will be the second consecutive game he has missed.
One of the Texans' most talented defensive players, the 6-foot-3, 263-pound Greenard has been battling through injuries recently and has been limited in practice. Greenard has 1.5 sacks in four games. Meanwhile, three players, who missed the game on Oct. 9 against the Jaguars, could be available against the Raiders. Wide receiver Chris Moore, tight end Brevin Jordan and offensive tackle Austin Deculus were all listed on the final injury report as “questionable” for Sunday. Moore and Jordan would be among the biggest additions to a passing offense that ranks among the worst in the league this season.
On the other side, the Raiders are also dealing with an injury to an important player. All-Pro tight end Darren Waller was listed as “out” with a hamstring injury and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, who practiced this week with a hip injury, was listed as “questionable.”Both the Texans and Raiders are coming off bye weeks.
