Teto poised for DStv Premiership return
Livingston attacker Aphelele Teto is poised for a return to the DStv Premiership in the form of a loan spell with initial talks having begun with several top-flight teamsThe 20-year-old completed a major move to the Scottish Premiership side at the start of the season, however, failure to secure a work permit means the versatile midfielder will have to wait at least until January for a chance to re-apply.
When contacted for comment, the player's representative, Carlos Mtshamba would not be drawn to divulge intimate details about the deal but confirmed that a return to South Africa was preferred. "The intention is for him to spend the loan back in South Africa, he's familiar with the league and the environment," Mtshamba told "Yes, we've had conversations [with several teams] about that but with respect to all parties, at this stage, we can't communicate any further than that because nothing has been finalised."
It is also understood that should a local move fail to materialise, North Africa has been tabled as a potential destination with several suitors having already expressed interest.Get the best in Soccer, News and Lifestyle content with SNL24 PLUS For 14 free days, you can have access to the best from Soccer Laduma, KickOff, Daily Sun, TrueLove and Drum.
