This car earns its RS stripes thanks to Porsche fitting the same 911 GT3 Cup–derived engine that powers the vaunted 911 GT3, but spinning it 180 degrees and mounting it beneath the rear parcel shelf, a placement that is less offensive to the laws of physics than the 911's rear-engine arrangement. In the GT4 RS, this high-revving, naturally aspirated, dry-sump flat-six makes 493 horsepower at 8400 rpm and 331 pound-feet of torque at 6750 revs.

Acceleration doesn't let up—60 mph passes in 2.8 seconds. Hold on for 20.8 seconds and 160 mph arrives.
