We just couldn't help ourselves!
Author:Tyler McCallPublish date:Jun 12, 2019Updated onJun 12, 2019Tessa Thompson is a gift for so many reasons, truly, but one of our personal favorite reasons to love the talented actress is her fearlessness when it comes to the red carpet. She and her stylists, Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, are never going to play it safe or bore us.
So obviously, when it came time to attend the premiere of Thompson's latest project, the "Men in Black" reboot co-starring Chris Hemsworth, the trio really went for it. The starting point was a killer custom silver dress by Rodarte, featuring one giant, poufed sleeve and an abundance of ruffles. From there, they added metallic platform sandals — all the better to balance all that volume up top — and asymmetrical earrings by Eva Fehren.
Thompson's hair is pulled back, to help show off all those ruffles at her bust and shoulder, and the beauty look is deceptively simple. All she needs is a dusty pink lip, a greige smokey eyeshadow and a cat eye, and done. Tagsterms:Wayman BannermanMicah McDonaldlook of the dayTessa ThompsonNetworkdesigners:Rodarte
