Skeptics say CEO Elon Musk has yet to show Tesla's self-driving system can travel safely without human supervision.
Tesla's Robotaxi Day event is set to take place at a Hollywood studio Thursday night, and expectations are high. Too high for some analysts and investors.The company, which began selling software it calls 'Full Self-Driving' nine years ago that still can't drive itself, is expected to show off the so-called 'Cybercab' vehicle, which may not have a steering wheel and pedals.

Last weekend he joined Trump at a Pennsylvania rally.
