Tesla Inc. is working on constructing a new Megapack factory in Shanghai, China to supplrment the output of the company's company's Lathrop, California Megafactory, Elon Musk said.
The construction of the factory will begin in the third quarter of 2023, while production is slated to start in the second quarter of 2024. according to Chinese state media outlet Xinhua.
