Pennsylvania State Police said an 18-year-old was operating his Tesla on Autopilot when the car lost control and rear-ended a work truck along a busy interstate.

"While these features are designed to become more capable over time, the currently enabled features do not make the vehicle autonomous."According to Tesla, the number of miles its global fleet of Model S, 3, X and Y vehicles have driven on Autopilot totaled over 9 billion.
