Three women are in critical condition after a Tesla Model Y flew off a freeway and landed on a homeless encampment.
. At around 2:25 am on July 26th, a white Tesla Model Y was going west-bound on the 10 freeway when the driver seemingly lost control, flying off the freeway, going down an embankment, and landing on a homeless encampment. There were four occupants in the Tesla when it crashed and two people sleeping in a tent where the vehicle landed. Only the occupants in the vehicle were injured.
Miraculously, the occupants of the tent were not seriously injured and left the scene on foot before first responders could arrive. A witness said he saw the Tesla"drive across all the lanes and literally fly off the freeway." The woman who escaped the crash with only minor injuries said that the driver was"completely sober" but"her gears messed up.
