The carmaker has told some owners it will take several weeks for windshield wiper motors to be replaced
Numerous Cybertrucks owners say their deliveries have been delayed as the carmaker repairs the wiper motor. Tesla ships the Cybertruck with the largest windshield wiper of any production car. Some owners say they took delivery of their Cybertrucks with a front wiper that didn't work. Tesla has reportedly stopped deliveries of the all-electric Cybertruck due to a fault with the pickup’s windshield wiper motor.
Many others have also said Tesla informed them it would take several weeks for the motors to be replaced. The owner of one Cybertruck on the forum says he had to call Tesla roadside assistance after getting stuck in a rainstorm with a non-functioning wiper. “I picked up on Tuesday in Florida and left and made it 20 miles and it started pouring raining. Had to sit in a Dunkin Donuts for 3.5 hours and call Tesla roadside assistance because I couldn’t see,” forum member Cnod writes.
