The supermarket has been criticised for its changes during the cost of living crisis
Tesco shoppers have been quick to slam the supermarket on social media after it has made a change at the checkout. The retailer has left customers outraged for the change.
The Echo reports the price change comes as Tesco want to stop customers from buying plastic bags. They want to encourage shoppers to bring their own bags instead.Supermarkets were ordered to charge 5p for the weaker single-use carriers in October 2015 - and last year the Government raised this levy to 10p. But shoppers were furious over the changes. They took to Twitter to share their complaints about the change in price.
