The driver of a lorry has been reported for a road traffic offence after striking a bridge in the city's Southside.

The Tesco lorry struck a bridge on Cook Street in the Laurieston area of the Southside around 8am.

Following the alleged road traffic offence, the driver will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.There was no apparent damage to the bridge.spokesperson said:"Around 8.10 am on Monday, 4 September 2023, police were called to a report that a lorry had struck a bridge on Cook Street, Glasgow."The driver of the van will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal for an alleged road traffic offence.
