The supermarket has had to cancel online orders as it works to fix a 'technical issue'.
Tesco is the latest supermarket to suffer from technical glitches today just hours after Sainsbury's retailers encountered similar issues.
It comes right of the back of major issues seen at Sainsbury's on the same day, which has resulted in customers being unable to use card payments at tills and resorting to cash only transactions. At the same time, the "vast majority" of online shoppers have also been hit by the "technical issue". Sainsbury's customers quickly flocked to the comments section to enquire about their orders, with one asking if they would be entitled to a refund: "Will we be able to return the items we no longer need and get a refund because we've had to go and re-buy them elsewhere? A pretty big chunk of my shopping was for events this weekend."
