The Daily Mail reported that Tina Moore has filed a case at the High Court against Welsh businessman Neville Evans, asserting that he either possesses the shirt or knows its fate. Evans, a reputable sporting memorabilia dealer, has consistently denied having the shirt, stating he is not currently holding it and does not know its whereabouts. He maintains through his solicitors that he has never acquired it and that any items he has obtained were done lawfully.
Moore's legal team, led by Stephen Hackett and Andrew Dunn, argues that regardless of current possession, the shirt legally belongs to Tina Moore. She last saw it decades ago after Moore gave it to her upon their divorce, and its disappearance remains unexplained. Paine, speaking from his home in Johannesburg, South Africa, stressed that someone must know what happened to the shirt and that doing the right thing means returning it to Tina and her family.
