A total of 2,921 people have died from coronavirus so far
A series of impactful new adverts have been launched by the UK government to deter people from going outside during theThe new campaign, which is stronger than any which has been produced before, warn the public ‘people will die’ if they do not stay at home.

Ministers were accused of failing to act quickly enough to prevent the spread of the virus, initially saying it was not necessary to cancel mass gatherings such as football matches and concerts.
