Terengganu MP ordered to file defence against Anwar’s suit by Feb 6

Kuala Terengganu MP Ahmad Amzad Hashim is ordered to file his statement of defence against Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s defamation suit at the Kuala Terengganu High Court by February 6. – Facebook pic, January 25, 2023.

The suit was filed by Anwar over allegations that he had lied about receiving only a symbolic salary of RM1 when he was appointed Selangor economic adviser. “The court has set the next case management on February 6 to be held online in front of the same deputy registrar to update the defamation suit,” he said.
